-
- That is how I normally view things, but for some reason I thought I had
- read something in the docs that essentially said, "If you just want to muck
- about, feel free to use the demo; if you want to do serious work with
- AmiTCP, order the registered version." As a mucker who wouldn't know where
- to start doing serious work, I've just been using the demo.
-
- I looked through the docs again today. The closest I could find to the
- comment I thought I had read earlier was the comment, "If you just want to
- use AmiTCP/IP you need just 'demo'. If you want to write your own
- applications you need 'sdk', too. Number in the name corresponds to
- distribution version." I just wanted to us AmiTCP so I just used demo. I
- also didn't find any of the usual kind of comments in the docs like "If you
- use this product for more than 30 you must register, etc."
-
- Anyway, I am enjoying AmiTCP for use with Mosaic, and hope to enjoy it when
- another web browser hits the market, so I guess it is time to register
- AmiTCP. I hope the registered version doesn't confuse me or the AmiTCP
- installation that I currently have!
